Making an Appointment
If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or visit the closest emergency room.
For other medical needs, we recommend you call to schedule your visit in advance. Most clinics and centers have limited ability to serve walk-in patients. Grady doctors are available to see patients Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Learn more about appointments »

Financial Assistance
We recognize that not everyone has the resources they need to obtain medical care. For that reason, we are happy to offer Financial Assistance to those in need. If you have received Grady healthcare services and find it would be a hardship to cover them financially, we encourage you to apply for financial assistance. Please contact the Billing and Insurance Department at (404) 616-1887.
Birth and Death Certificates
Certified copies of Birth and Death Certificates are available through the Georgia Office of Vital Records. You may complete an online request for a Birth Certificate or Death Certificate, or you may call the office at (404) 679-4702.
Advice Nurse
The Advice Nurse Center is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and helps patients access the healthcare services they need. The center is staffed by specially trained registered nurses. Doctors are also on call around the clock to support the advice nurses. Please call (404) 616-0600 or 1-800-447-6032 to speak to an advice nurse.

If you have a comment, concern, issue or complaint that affects patient care and satisfaction please contact the health center, clinic, specialty or department directly. If the concerns cannot be resolved through Grady Health System, the individual is encouraged to contact The Joint Commission.
