Appointments

We accept private health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and workers' compensation. Grady Health System accepts cash, check, traveler's check, money order, Discover, Visa, MasterCard and American Express for payment.

Walk-in waits can be long. Call for an appointment. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or visit the closest emergency room.

Depending on where you are making your appointment and whether you are a new or returning patient, there are slightly different steps you need to take:

You want to make an appointment at a Hospital Specialty Clinic

Guidelines for all appointments:

 

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your scheduled time, you may be rescheduled.

 

Please have the following for EVERY visit, including your first visit:

 

  • Insurance (Private, Medicare, Medicaid or Grady Care Card)
  • Valid Government-issued Picture Identification (Driver's License, Passport, Consulate ID)
  • Co-payment (consult your insurance provider)

 

Grady accepts most insurance and forms of payment.
