Effective April 30, 2009, The Grady Memorial Hospital Corporation d/b/a Grady Health System implemented a new vendor registration system. Grady requires all vendors, active and potential, to register through our new system.

Your registration will allow you to provide electronically the information we need to continually:

• Ensure we have the most accurate information on your business, capabilities, and contact information,
• Screen vendors and representatives against state and federal sanction lists, and
• Manage access to our facilities and patient care areas based on immunization, training, and compliance status.

There is a nominal annual registration fee, which covers your company, as well as all representatives of your company. The price ranges from $25 to $250 per year per company (not each representative) and the fee pays for the vendor system and credentialing performed.

The fee covers all representatives working under the same Tax Identification Number. In order to maintain personal credentials and ensure ongoing access to our facilities, each representative must register individually.

All representative(s) who visit Grady will be required to sign in electronically at the information booth located in the Atrium to obtain an identification badge that must be worn throughout the visit to any Grady facility.

Sanctions for Non-Compliant Vendors:
Violations by vendors of the requirements of this policy may result in the following sanctions against either the individual or the company for whom the individual works.

• Issue a written warning to the vendor company.
• Six month ban of a vendor representative from the GHS campus for vendor activities and/or request that the company replace individual.
• Permanent ban of vendor representative from the GHS campus for vendor activities and/or request a recommendation to suspend the vendor or terminate the contract under the Purchasing Policy.

Vendors - once your registration is complete, please visit and complete Grady's Vendor Orientation & Annual Training web site. Call Call Grady's Director of Training at (404) 616-6049 to obtain a username and password.

If you are interested in bidding on any of Grady Health System's RFPs, you must comply with the terms and conditions and submit the Contract Clause Acknowledgment Form with your proposal.
